Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War to remember  the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty.

One can call it also Poppy Day.  Once a year (closest to Sunday the 11th of November) schools are invited to lay a wreath at the First World War Monuments in Church Square. We are the only no-fee school to attend and participate on an annual basis.
