Volunteer from Germany
Daniel Roehlicke is 19 years old and comes from Germany. He finished school last year and came to South Africa in September for a gap year. He started working at a pre-school in Johannesburg and now at Good Shepherd Primary school for the first term of 2016. He helps with the physical education with grade 1, 2, and 3, and helps in the computer lab as well as in the library.
New Staff Member
We got a new teacher at Good Shepherd Primary School. Her name is Ms Linda Ngqandu and she started on the 28th April 2015 with us. She will be teaching foundation phase (grade 1 -3) isiXhosa.
Faculty News
Mr. Mark Riley will be taking over from Mr. Hobongwana and will teach Economic management system and Natural Science.
Farewell
The school wish to bid farewell to Mr. D Hobongwana (Hobs) who took up a promotional post at one of the school in Grahamstown. He will be dearly missed at the school after being with us for 10 years. We wish him well in his future endeavors!
