2024 Makhanda Teacher Awards:

There was great celebration in late August when not one, but two, Good Shepherd staff members received awards at the inaugural Makhanda Teacher Awards for 2024 (Good Shepherd was the only primary school to win 2 awards). It was a proud moment to see Mr Thulani Wana winning the Leadership award, being selected as the best Primary School Principal in Makhanda, and Ms Jade Botha, Good Shepherd’s English teacher, jointly receiving the award for the best Intermediate Phase teacher. This is certainly a feather in the cap of Good Shepherd School, and we heartily congratulate the two staff members.
